Say I would want an sr20 motorset (motor + transmission) by the beginning of July but I would only have around $1,200 by then.

I was wondering if anyone out there would go in on a deal where I pay upfront with $1,200 and have the motor for the beginning of july (which is when I will be able to use my garage to perform the swap) and have the rest of the money payed up by mid august?
If you wanted to be cool and sell me a motorset for $1,600 then it would be payed in full by mid July. Maybe I could work out a full payment in mid july if someone had something above $1,600 though.
I have a job 5 days a week and go to school for the other 2, I'm not some bum, and I would give the person my address and list of places to find me at so you know I won't screw you on some scammed agreement.

Seriously though, anything out there?

if you have a grand do the jdmmarket prebuy. It will be the best and most reliable thing you could do.

 

so jdmmarket offers a prebuy? Meaning I can give them money and I will get the engine and then give them a full payment on the motorset after?

 

no it means u put 1k down and when u pick up the motor u pay the rest, i think

 

they are pre buying on the new shipment. 1k to hold it when it comes in and the rest upon pick-up.

 

Maybe I can squeeze out some time to scrap up the remaining $600 somewhere. Thanks for the ideas

 

we only have 6 redtops coming in, so they are gonna go fast, right now were looking at mid-July for delivery of the container.
