Heres the story on the damamge:
Just bought it 3 weeks ago on monday, detailed tuesday, semi truck clipped me on wensday morning. car was PERFECT before the accident. Im leaving in a month for the army, the insurance company is being a bitch and i would have to go to court for any money or wait a long time which i dont have.
I need a car thats in good shape, no 88 hatches, saturns, ect. My roommate is going to work on his car when i leave and do a engine swap so he wants my car for his daily, when hes done a girl friend of mine might be using it afterwards. This is why im interested in trades. Try me on your offer.

The car:
1995 240sx (not an SE). CLEARTITLE Automatic(yeah yeah i know )
69k, power windows, inside is perfect besides for the drivers side carpet and the seats are great just needs a mild steamcleaning (i detail so i can clean them). no cracks any where. ICE COLD ac and heat. paint is 8/10 due to minor chips on the roof and trunk and a few little dings. inside is 9/10 due to carpet being worn. Motor is FLAWLESS, i never ever detailed the motor because it was mint when i got it. Only damage to motor componants is the overflow resv. is smashed. Doesnt over heat at all. Front rim is bent in a little. I drive it every day (since i have to). Has a mild vibration at like 20mph, 50mph and 65. due to the front wheel.

To fix:
My roommate talked to Sebastian and he said he can pull the frame for 300
I can get all the parts for 375 and have some paint thrown on for 100-150.
Or you can use it as a parts car, or a drift car. Book value is like 5000

Now if i sell it im looking to sell it as whole, i dont have time to part it out even tho that would bring alot more money if i cut it down and ebayed it.
I know every one whines about an asking price but i dont wanna look like a complete shit head by throwing up some high amount but i turned down an 800 offer easily. i just want another car for the little time i have.

Well i have a guy coming this weekend that will be able to give me 2000.
Im just not sure if he is going to come thru
I mean even tho the car is wrecked its still in amazing shape and the book is 5000 all day. This would be an awsome project drift car or a gold mine for parts

yeah seeing the car in person makes a huge difference.
i got offers for 1200, 1600 also.
This car was never modified or any thing. if this car was parted out on ebay it would bring alot of money

 

^ There is your win then part it out then sell the scrapmetal. This is nissan forums, we are all cheap con-artists that dont want to pay what you want to get. Sorry to break the news to you but most people lost interest when frame damage and 2k were posted. I wish you the best I parted out a 98 base 5 speed not to long back i would have rather sold the car but parting out is the way to go.

well good luck with it then, i just cant see my self paying more the 600 for it, maybe if it was 5-speed or 5-lug. frame damage is just too much trouble right now. hope it sells quick

there is no acutal "frame" damage. Its the radiator core support (radiator is perfect) and the fender support. Sebastian can pull it for 300.. or you can go find a junk yard S14 and cut that section off and weld it into my car.. my problem is i dont have the time and money and im leaving for the army so i dont have time to part it out.

I only said 2000 because one i was offered it so i thought it was worth it.. and all i need is a decent car till i leave and to give it to my roommate so he can build his mustang up.. like a 92 civic hatch on some VX wheels completly stock is what im looking at.. and i figured thoese sell for 1800 to 2000.

This car is perfect if you get a S15 conversion and do a motor swap.
So you take out the clean virgin KA with 69k and the auto tranny.. throw in a SR with a 5 speed.. sell the KA and tranny to pay for the frame being pulled (which is easy to a body man).. throw on the S15 kit which will replance all the bad parts and then you have a great S15 with a SR motor for cheap. On the inside every thing is MINT but the drivers carpet.. which floor mats cover.
