FS: 89 S13 with lots of fun stuff...
another project has come up and since nissan's aren't my expertise, i've decided to see what i could get for my unassembled nissan project. the car is an 89 single cam, p/w, p/l, cruise control, 5 spd with 192k miles. car is really straight, very little rust, paint is well, old, but i wasn't going for looks on this one. the dash inside the car is cracked all to hell, but i have an uncracked dash out of the car that will come with it of course. the car actually runs really damn good for the mileage, little lifter noise, i just haven't had the ambition to fix it. the p/s doesn't work, but i have chose not to fix it for a good reason, more on that later. two different keys, one for the doors, then another for the hatch/ignition, yes, i could rekey them, but it works fine this way for me.the center console piece which is not there in the pictures, i do actually have, i had it off doing some wiring the day i took the photos, so just be assured it's there, i can take pictures of it if you want. suspension is relatively tight, they are replacement GR-2's, not my first choice, but they were on there when i got it, but it doesn't ride like it has almost 200k on it, so that's a plus. any other questions about the car itself, and i'll answer them in a PM or email or whatever. but i drive the car everyday, so i can vouch for it's reliability.
but now to the good stuff, i can part this stuff out, but it'd like to sell it altogether, because when put altogether, it will be a nice little package. full CA18DET engine set, motor, trans, ecu, full upper and lower harness, in the pictures it is disassembled, which is how it is now, the head is still on the block, but pretty much everything else is off of it, my plan was to build it now, saves me from doing it later, so it is in pieces, but every last piece is there, there is no SMIC or piping, as i was planning on using a front mount and making my own piping. but i can get one if you would like one for a little extra. the motor itself is in really good shape, very clean, will need some seals, but most CA's do, the turbo if you plan on using the stock one is in great shape, one of the main reasons i bought the motor, very very very little shaft play, and the blades look perfect. my plan was to part wash all the pieces before they go into the car, but i only got to the lower intake manifold, and the coolant feed lines to the turbo before today, the upper manifold is fully disassembled to do the same. harness like i said is complete, and all there, ecu, maf, ignitor, dropping resistor, if you had all the new gaskets to put the motor back together, you could put it in your car today basically, easy way to say it. motor also has all the accessories, p/s pump(why i haven't replaced this one), a/c compressor, alternator, everything.
i didn't get too terribly far with the suspension, but so far i've got together a newly reman OEM rack, with new roll center adjusting tie rods, also with a steering bushing eliminator. for the rear i have a full set of Techno Toy Tuning subframe collars, just arrived today. all of this is uninstalled, i was going to do this all at once so it makes it easier on myself. there is also an older Recaro seat as shown in the pictures, really great old school seat, i like the look, it sits on a JIC seat rail, one of those super low ones, and i actually just picked that up from Enjuku not but 2 days ago, and installed it right after.
but here are some pictures of everything, i tried to include all of the motor parts, want pictures of something specific on the motor or car? let me know, and i'll post them up on my account. and now for the details, the car is in alafaya woods, and i'll deliver it anywhere in orlando, the motor set however, i will help load it into a truck or whatnot, i have an engine lift, but i'm not inclined to deliver it. obviously, since nothing is put together, i'm just looking to what i have into it, so i'll sell the whole deal together for 2500, or thereabouts. like i always say, email or post. thanks for reading my novel.
