Default F/S honda 1.7 VTEC motor and tranny

selling 1.7L VTEC motor and 5 speed tranny out of honda Civic with only 12,000 miles, car was wrecked and totalled out, motor still ran when pulled out, doesnt come with harness price is $450.00 if any questions please email, pics will be up soon thanks

So is this the motor for the 01 civic lx's and shit...my sister has a slow POS 01 lx and idk id be kinda fun to put this in there...pm me a price

dual cam? isnt the 1.7 vtec's in the 2nd gen teg gsr's? im not trying to be a smart ass but i just need a clearification.

no i dont think he it talking about the older gsr motor. i think this is from the newer civics.

they both are D-series motors so it will go in, but I dont have the harness/computer so you will need those and some misc. parts like sensors and maybe different tranny mounts,slave cylinder, clutch, clutch pedal and some other small misc. parts

I have a 96 hatch(already a 5 spd) - If you can find out some more info on putting that motor into a car like mine - I would glady take it off ur hands for ur asking price - thanks

it will fit in your too, but your still gonna need some misc parts and harness and need a vtec computer....SOMEONE BUY MY MOTOR
