The 240 is gone
So I just sold the 240. Everytime I sell a car, no matter how much I may despise it, I am still a bit depressed. Perhaps it is the New Castle, or perhaps it is Mike Jones...but I am sad to see that car gone.

Wish I could have afforded her. That car + my LSD, suspension, header and s14 seats = golden.
Wish you would have given her more of a shot. Parts aren't that expensive if you know where to go. Oh well, the Focus is cool, I like it.

Why'd I sell the 240?
1. The interior smelled like wet dog ass when it rained.
2. Compared to cars I've had in the past (including the Focus) parts are much more expensive UNLESS you find them in a junkyard.
3. I needed to throw quite a bit more money into the 240 to make it "right".
I wanted something new, with a warranty, leather interior, nice stereo that gets good gas mileage and is a blast to drive. Also wanted a car I could drive daily & autocross on the weekends. The SVT fits the bill perfectly.
John...After the '01 model year, the Focus has a close to perfect track record. '03+ Foci have no recalls. This '03 SVT is the second model year with all the bugs fixed from the '02 SVT. For the amount of money I spent on this SVT, I doubt one could find anything comparable.
