After talking with my boss and informing him I would be very displeased if they charged me, he talked to someone else, they decided not to charge me, but it would be noted in my file in case it happens again.

They pay for repairs to truck and trailer, but because we drop trailers at so many shippers and receivers drivers got lazy and would drop trailers with known issues cuz they didn't want to waste time dealing with it, then the next driver to pick it up would have to get it fixed. So to try and prevent that they decided to start charging the driver that should have gotten it fixed.
I understand the reasoning, but you can get 2 tires mounted and balanced for $500.
So I find that exessive
