Got that last month... Great vid... still though for an overheated engine it still made third and held first for almost two laps.... Great car driven at its full potential. IMO the other drivers didn't push those cars.... Big difference in laptimes....

I'm confused how a company can have a smaller engine in it's most expencive supercar and have an even bigger engine in its minivan...

the lambos were definitely much faster cars than the nsx if you're talking one lap ability. both have AWD and a LOT more horsepower. the driver of the murcielago was saving the tires and brakes for the last lap and it paid off. even if the nsx hadn't overheated it could not have won (maybe could have got 2nd).
still though, for the money, definitely a great car.

Yeah the Odessy and MDX are 3.5L, but SOHC. The NSX-R is 3.2L DOHC. The NSX engine is also lighter.
$60K + buys you double the horsepower in the Lambos. Personally, if i could afford any of them, I'd take the NSX, get Cybernation turbo kit (480whp stock internals) and laugh my way to the bank.
You can't deny that for half the horsepower and at a lower cost, the NSX hung pretty damned good.
An NSX here (non R) with every accessory is $90K.
An R in Japan would probably be $100K
3.2L V6 VTEC 280bhp
Murcielago $193-280K
6.1L V12 580bhp
Gallardo $165K
4.9L V10 500bhp
