I am looking to buy a new beater and this one is within my price range. Just wondering if anyone knows this person/car. I mainly want to know if there are any hidden issues not being talked about etc...
minor basic crap is not a big deal but electrical nightmares etc do concern me.
any info would be great.
thanx perros <---that plural for dog in spanish for all you white folk out there.

depends how far along the rust is, where its at (some spots are easier to get to) and how big it is.
bill's car is very clean...he is the amazing driver of that vehicle and he takes good care of it, even with auto-x/drift competitions.
u know if u got it, matt knows about the car and theres others here who can always help you out with anything and with any problems it might [probably never] develop.
edit: which car are you interested in the red or the blue one? i hadnt scrolled down that far and didnt see he had another one for sale.
and ps - the rust on the hatch is common with the stock s13 'foam' wing. usually you can find a base model hatch at a junkyard or off a parts car with the same color (blue and red are common ones) for cheap. base models dont have the rear wiper though if ur interested in keeping that. finding an se hatch without a spoiler is also an option. so for that rust its not bad at all

I am liking this good feedback..will be sad to turn it into my beater!
Or maybe I will just have to do a badass SR swap and be king drifta...
one more thing...is the engine in his just the stock engine from the 91+ models? or is it special?
also will this car net me at LEAST 25mpg in the highway with normal driving?

25mpg yes. keep it tuned up and you'll hit 200 or 300k miles in it.
engine is special in the red one because its a DOHC motor in an SOHC chassis. 89-90 had the squarer front bumper and had the 140hp SOHC motor. bill put in a 155hp DOHC motor from the 91-94 models (rounder front bumper fyi). so you got a newer motor with less miles and an extra 15hp/15tq or so.
