Default Time Capsule '57 Plymouth

The radio was talking about this on the way to work. This has been a hot topic latley on the Mopar boards. Not your typical survivor vehicle.

As long as the vault stayed sealed up I would think its still in pretty good condition. But who knows, with sewer lines and water mains that vault could be full of water.

I wonder if whoever gets the car is responsible for the parking ticket? That bitch probably has some serious late fees by now.

They are going to have to replace the entire fuel system because they left gas in the car for some reason.

Cool story but I have to ask myself, self, "why in the hell did they pick a car like that instead of a '57 Cadillac, '57 Chevy, '57 Vette, '57 T-Bird or damn near any other car built in '57"????

Still, it'll be interesting to see what mother earth has done to this thing over the last 50 years.
