Like I said in your other thread, I think it's great you want to do something like that for your dad . You had mentioned too you wanted to spend 6-8000. Here is an e-bay link for old camaros. It will give you an idea what you can get for that price range. Nothing had a buy it now that low, but if you skim it it may help.

To bad he doesn't want a 55 Chevy. Theres one for $4,500 around the corner from our house. But I will keep an eye out for you. Maybe try the Classic Car Trader also.

Its a Bellair. I looks nice from the road. I drove by the other day and got a good look at it. On the passenger rear quarter there is a small dent and a scratch in the paint. The body looked a little wavy but alot of those seem to. The interior looked white I think and the body is dark purple and white. Me and my husband both thought it would be worth 4500. Granted I don't know what the interior was like or how it drives.
Here are pics of what one looks like.

Hold on haha, the picture is not the one for sale, I was just trying to show the body style. The one for sale is dark purple and white. We drove by again last night and I didn't realize it but Bill mentioned it's a 4 door not 2, sorry. If you are want I can get a number for you.

Just like a woman. Get my hopes up and then leave me hanging. Nah, $4500 for a 4 door is normal price so I don't feel as motivated to buy it immediately. I'd rather have this '53 Buick Super that I was looking at instead.
