get me some DR's and ill be seeing 12's unmodded...thats the whole basis for this decision...its newer, itll be more reliable i hope, itll be plenty fast for me (even though i know ima drop money into it just for the hell of it) and itll be a better panty dropper then what i am driving now...i know insurance couldnt cost anymore then it is...

just curious, did the ls1's run from 97-02?

98-02. If you can grab a late 01-02 its probly worth the extra change. They run a good amount stronger with the ls6 intake and the dif cam.

Very true... I was in the 12's before tires and suspension. I put on Nitto's and added LCA's and started going mid 12's.

lol dunno if you all did it, think it was my moms car that did it, but who knows, id just like to get out of the whole swapping engines, spending dickloads of money for shit i dont need, fixing stuff that shouldnt break in the 1st place...stupid annoyances like that have turned me away from imports. plus low 13's of the lot is somewhat attractive aswell...hopefully the gas mileage isnt too bad.. anything 20+mpg in the city would be perfect

True, depends on how you drive it. You stay on the gas, you'll watch that needle move faster than a ricer running to his car when the police come! If you drive like, the speed limit, or something, then you can get some decent milage.

Now, even with my girl in the car, I get bad mileage, because if anyone passes me, or leaves a light faster than me, no matter what kind of car, she says, "He said you ain't shit"! She totally instigates me to run!!
