94 Z28 vs G35
So on my way home tonight dropping off my friend, there's this red G35 that I pull up next to at a redlight at Sheldon & Waters. My friend tells me the guy is looking at my car. So I think nothing of it and the light turns green. The guy speeds in front of my to get around the slower traffic. I keep up just because I wanted to get home and go to sleep. So we're going to Sheldon heading towards the mall. I normally turn on Old Linebaugh to take my friend home. But I keep following the G35. We get stopped at Linebaugh and Sheldon behind some other cars. We drive all the way down to Citrus Park Dr. and by now I'm in front of him. So I turn right and he follows. We get caught at the light by the mall then he takes off so I keep up until he had to let off because of some person going the speed limit(weird). We get caught at the light by the Veterans. I'm up front and I take off from the light, he moves to the left lane and starts pushing it so I do the same. We're both going and he's not pulling on me so he lets off. Then at Henderson and Gunn we pull up next to each other and i wave him to open his window and ask him why he let up, he said "Theres a police station back there." talking about the station by the mall. Then he says that shits quick. I say thanks and turn to go drop my friend off.
Moral of the story is DONT RACE. You only get caught at every redlight!
My Z28 is 100% stock down to the stock tire size, and its an auto. His G35 had exhaust and prob CAI.
