My friend and I were crusing around in my Civic and we stopped for some food. Then when pulling out of the shopping center I look across the street and see a pickup truck pulling out of the adjacent shopping center. He quickly pulls out onto the 2 lane street going in the same direction as us.
At first I thought nothing of it. Then I notice as he quickly gets up beside me. I look at the truck it was a new midsize Dodge 5.9 R/T. At first Im just crusing so I stepped on it in 3rd to see what it had but I actually could have dropped it in 2nd. He steps on it as well and is attempting to pass me LOL. :oh:Then I finally hit 4400 rpms and give him an ear piercing exhaust tone change and the biggest surprize of his midlife crisis. By the end of 3rd I was at least 2 or 3 cars. I put it in 4th and put another 2 or 3 cars on him easy. I then realized how fast I was going and shut down. I look in my rearview and see the old man barrelling down the road still at full throttle. He flew by me doing 100 or more. Oatmeal fly by LOL. I stayed back. Then we watched as he slammed on his brakes really hard just barely negotiating the cruves ahead while drifting into the outside lane. He could have easily killed someone with this stunt. :thumbdown Then we casually come around the curves still laughing and see him at an empty red light and noticed that he decided to turn left instead of going straight. We could have lined up but he would have just got another spanking and I think he knew it deep down inside. Then when the light turned green he jumped out in front of oncoming traffic pulled in front of them they quickly stopped and he turned left in a big hurry. :thumbdown This was the 2nd retarded move from this idiot in less than 2 minutes.

I assume your Honda is either a VTEC car or is not stock right?
Cause me in my butt-slow Nissan 4 banger Pickup can spank a stock non-Si Civic. And one of those 5.9 R/Ts trucks would eat my truck for lunch if I tried to race one. Just wondering...no flame intended. |

Fuckers. Well its my duty to jump in and defend ma mopar
Yes they are slow from the factory...They are all autos and dont shift hard at all. They also weigh about 2 tons. And besides the 360 is a run of the mill 360 nothing special! So no its not the fastest thing on 4 wheels in fact they are quite slow from the factory.

I dont doubt they are slow in stock form. I dont think my Civic is all that fast either. The point of my war story was to emphasize that because hes in a 5.9 R/T the owner ( in this case the midlife crisis mullet
) thinks he can beat anything on the road. I just wish I could have lined up at a red light and beat him even worse. For me personally its more about crushing the ego than anything else.
