I'm very interested to see how I do against the CR. He didnt make that much more peak power but his entire power band sits hovers over mine the entire time always making a tiny bit more power from 3k up. |

exactly^ twanksta's stock s2k dynoed the same as your hondata img s2k did....the mugen did dyno 3 more ponies but he was also tuned, so you really cant get any power out of these cars unless you boost
i dont think twanksta will run unless itss on patterson..... |

i dont think u need boost to make power. i guarantee if u put a good header/intake/exhaust on there and dyno tune it youll gain a lot of power! u may not make extra power just bolting them on but the tune is where its at. a buddy of myne ran one up in tally with i/h and an ems that made 256 to the wheels after the tune.

yes, that is correct. Like I said before. Mods without tuning does NOTHING!
but, a good race header for an S2000 is upwards of $1500 dollars. The really nice intakes are $300+ and a good exhaust setup might run around $1,000 and higher. Then AEM runs about another $1500 + dyno time and tuning. So for the price you pay to gain 30whp with I/H/E you could have just went turbo with stock exhaust and agained 120+whp! That is why mine is staying stock untill I finish paying it off I will boost it. I'm not wasting money on any of those bolt ons. They are worthless to me. |

I've never seen more than the factory rated horse power made to the wheels from just a I/H/E and tune setup. These motors are pretty maxed as it is so to gain 50-60whp on minor bolt ons is pretty insane and unheard of.

. but still...u made 218 hp with some minor stuff. id like to compare your runs on the dyno to a BONE stock one just to see if u gained more power elsewhere in the power band. same with rick. your 100% right tho...without tuning most mods dont do shit on high performance cars from the factory (aka the s2k).as for getting the most power for your money from boost...im not so sure. we can debate all day about the differences in boost vs n/a n bla bla bla. to each his own i guess. that f22c has a lot of potential whichever route u choose tho. |
