The Blue Torpedo vs 350z

Well i finally got my first run in tonight with the new ride. Well it was me against a 350z. Well he was about a car in front, he takes the hit, and then we go off and I go flying by in 2nd at about 75 and proceed to pull about several buses at that point, then just to make it feel right i put the flashers on . All in all the car felt good and I cant wait to get it tuned and running properly.

Yea.... its a Hemi... 5.7L

Better me glad is wasn't my 3.5L running ya, me and Jamie are going to touch this one, and it'll out run the space shuttle with no mods, bone stock !!!

your 2nd gear goes to 75? wtf? Now...is this an SRT8 hemi or just a charger/magnum hemi? Stock? modded?Post wtf your car is next time.stock for stock, a magnum hemi is going to be neck and neck with a 350z. SRT8's will obviously annihilate a stock Z.

Well I couldnt tell ya if the 350 was stock or not , but my car is a R/T 5.7

I owned a Z. And raced an R/T 5.7 hemi. It was neck and neck and I actually pulled a little. Ain't no way you "flew" by him at 75mph. You don't have a whole lot more power, but you weigh a LOT more, and have the aerodynamics of a brick.

2nd gear should go to about 75 in the Charger. Tht is about right. As far as the story being believable, I wouldn't know- they both sound like slow cars to me. I mean, not as slow as a Mustang, but you get the point.....

Well duh, Mustangs are like the slowest thing ever. I really don't understand why people try and make them fast, a 300zx would be such a better car.

You got another Magnum now canyouheminow? What happened to your SRT-6?

And chimmike its very possible for a car to beat another car, driver mod, car mods, etc. Otherwise why would we mod our cars?

I have the budget of.... Well the oppisite of Clint. Through Fri, Sat, Sun I did a total of.... Well, not much. Only thing that cost money was Dairy Queen and Publix. Gotta save up for some road course action in 2-3 weeks.

Ole yea, Saturday was the free UFC fights, so I just Sat home for that... Used gift cards at Carrabas ( and took my mom for a month late Mother's day dinner ). Anyway, you didn't miss much...

Anyway, no one said the R/T was bone stock...

They're both 14 second cars. The only way I see him "flying by" the Z at 70mph is if the Z shut down.
