Volkswagen Golf GTI Turbo vs Honda Civic Si N/A

i was at the hudson meet tonight and a turbo vw gti with 2 passengers gave me my first ever skeet race, 3 back to back races, and my first wins ever! thanks whoever turbo gti that was!

However, my question is, shouldn't the GTI have won? I raced from 2 stop light digs and one 40mph roll. From one dig I got him by 2 car lengths and from the roll I got him by half a car and stopped when i hit 100+ mph and on the last dig he just gave up because he was turning to his housing complex or whatever i think lol. Keep in mind I had a passenger as well and I just got done filling up my tank with gas lawl he should have raped me right?

GTI has absolutly no traction due to 22 LB Spikes in first gear running on stock diff.. If you remember your car lauched hard off the line.. you have stock LSD right?

all in all gotta work on the traction issues.. once we get that down we can try agian

A stock GTI and a Stock SI are pretty close, you should have him from a roll and he should have you from a dig. The GTI is all torque and hondas are all top end.

if you would like we can do a roll again with just driver vs. driver. you will get me off the line every time due to no traction. might be different if i had a LSD installed which I am going to look into very soon. Spinning tires through all of first and into second doesn't do much in the way of power to the ground. you should be putting out more HP than me but normally GTI would be lighter if it were for my extra passengers over what you had. if your up in hudson again at a meet i will look for ya. gotta love that v tec tho yours def. hits hard. hope to see ya around.

what are you on 175 series tires?
