The man of Steele vs. Shit box 280zxt

Hanging out at my boys house last night Shmuff get's a phone call, it's my arch rival John Steele, and the crazy 2g.

I don't know the whole list of mods, but he was around 20psi, SAFC, small 16g, and exhaust.

I was set at around 18psi for the first couple runs, and then 20+ on the last playful run.
We go from a low, 40mph roll, in 2nd gear. Which my car hates btw. I brake boost, and honk for 3. We're off. His passenger has a video camera and I slowly pull ahead of him from the start, I hear his tires just burning away at the pavement through 2nd. Mid third I increase my lead slightly more, and by mid 4th I had about 1-2 car lead on him.

4th gear to 2nd gear roll. Civic hatch.
50mph, Im in 4th, the Civic is in 2nd. We go and he starts a slight jump on me. I get into boost and push ahead of him with no issues. I shut down around a 2 car lead.

Steele and I ran again the 2nd time when I had more boost, and I think he raised to 21psi? My guage stops at 20, so we'll just say I was running "O" boost. Same results, but he hung in there for a gear before I started pulling.

i got a sweet look at this race, i was driving the intrepid 4 deep, and go about a football feild ahead of them before they started so that when they went, i would be able to get a really clear view of who was ahead of who, jeff definitely had the lead, but that eclipse flies for what little it has done to it...good runs

hey good race, when i got home i figured out why you won, i heard some rattling in the engine bay so i checked it out and found out that i spun 2 of my intake manifold bearings, i forgot to replace them with the head. lol anyways nah good races i need to get some software so i can pull the video from my camera but until then people can just imagine the race.

Good runs guys... I wish I could be out with you guys getting in on the fun, but I am in worlds of pain, thanks to my fuckin wisdom teeth... I am having surgery Monday to get it all fixed up, so by the end of the week I should be all better, and ready to come play... Until then, I will just stay drugged up on my codeines and hating life, so yall have some fun for me...

i think the best race was the MR2 vs the hatch vs john steel and john took off in 4th from a 40 roll and still won
