Pewter LS1 falls to the Evo....

On my way to the races Saturday night and I came across a pewter C5 with a chick driving it. I raced her from a 3rd gear roll and had a good 1/2 car on her by 4th. I was at 7000rpm's in 4th with a small pull still goin'.

I came across a red RSX with a front mount. I think he's the same one that raced a G35. Anyone see this race?

Anyway, he made a u-turn to go hang with the ricers. So we never ended up racing.

you got to call me. we were bored at gandy. ended runing a turbo 280. ended up fun but would have been nice to have the evo out.

actually that was me with the RSX I was actually trying to find Insanecivicsedan but never actually did, although I did find ricers!

I thought that was you in the evo. I did race the g35. you down for a roll race? if you beat c5s from a roll should have no problems with this RSX

i hope not if it still cant beat an evo from a roll spraying. i thought this evo had very little as far as mods, did that change recently?

If this LS1 was spraying, thenn it was probably molasis that he was spraying. An evo on a roll should be a pretty even matchup for the two. If you don't believe me, I will show you... Good Kills though. Love the look of the EVO.

well yah cause of AWD but arent they considerably slower from a roll? I think they trap like 100?

I have seen anywhere from 102-104 in the magazines, but have yet to see one run better than a 13.8 a the track

thats what I mean from a roll against a vette it should be getting pulled not pulling on it...and if the vette was spraying...it should be a slaughter.

ive never seen an evo come remotely close to a 13.1 stock, my friend had a 13.0 talon he used to put buslengths on any evo he ran, and i could put buslengths on them from a stop or roll, id hafta c a stock evo run next to a 6 speed c5 with a good driver
