G-VR4 vs. SRT-4

Last night I was out in Westchase visiting some friends and I was waiting for them to get back to the house. I decided to go for a little drive around the area. As I am pulling on to Linebaugh I notice a yellow neon with dual exhaust but no wing. I was really hoping it was an srt4 and as I got closer, sure enough it was.

I decide to blow off just to see the reaction and sure enough the younger kid takes the bait and begins just hauling ass. I was kind of confused b/c he just took off. Finally he slows back down and asks me to turn into the 711. I pull in and like 5 people pile out of the car all with a "wtf is that thing" look on their face. I decided to play nice and popped the hood. They were all pretty much in awe that something like my car could exsist.

Anyway back to the race. We decide to go from a stop and it was so quick I really didnt even get a chance to get my revs up and bogged out of the hole. Of course the srt4 spun all through first and I had enough time to put about 3 cars on him before I shut it down around the top of third into 4th. He then wanted to go from a 40 roll. I agreed knowing I wouldnt fair to well from a roll with the stock intercooler setup but I went anyway. 3 honks and we go. We were pretty much side by side he put about half a car on me before we shut it down.

All in all it was a good run and I have a lot of respect for the srt4s. Im pretty sure his was all stock and he was riding 5 deep but none the less it was fun. I also had gabe in the car who could count for 2. (just kidding gabe) If anyone knows the kid (yellow srt4, no wing) tell him we should go again with just him in the car.

He seemed like he had just gotten the car and was just out joyriding with his friends. I tried telling him to check out tamparacing.com so well see what happens. Im sure somebody knows him or has seen him. Id like to know if anything was done.
