so dan and i met up and were heading over the bridge. well we stopped at a light and both agreed we didnt want to race. afraid of the outcome

1/2 way across the bridge we line up anyways. i opend the bottle and we both got on it. he put bus lengths on me. i was like WTF :o i look down- i had opened my bottle but not turned it on LOL

race 2- different area we line up again, i was all set this time. dan took the hit gained a bit on me instantly and thats how it stayed

race 3- even start on 3 honks. i pulled about a 1/2 car and stayed there.

i let dan win the first 2 times just so he wouldnt cry afterwards.

all runs were from a slow roll and good lord do i need a bottle heater

oh and we were both on crack durning the races too. shaking like shit

THAT! Was the highlite of my evening, and was most likely my last races in the de-Juiced ride.
I gota tell ya, there is no more of a vulnerable feeling than looking over and seeing her lean down to open her bottle and me not having the spray at all. Great thing was--she was soooo amped that she failed to engage the system...and it was bye bye Shalane!! I was thinking...."man, that's one weak ass n20 shot she's got on there!".
The second race was so much fun--cuz I NEVER get the hit, and man, I was surprised how good my car pulled at 3000 rpm in first even with the 273's.
Third race was no fun at all. I HATE not being able to put bus lengths on someone, let alone not even pulling ahead.

All in all, good times, and good runs Shalane. You're the bestest. My fear of losing to you is now done and over with, it was actually pretty fun. My left leg has finally stopped with the adrenaline induced bouncing.
