Many kills

Well i was out a few nights ago... Ran a couple fbodys and a 300zx (Na).
The 300zx was very nice but didnt have any comparitable power to the fbody's that were out.
The first z28 i ran got me out of the hole... but by the top of 2nd i was pulling hard by him...
Next was the fun one. A beautiful red Ram Air wanted to go... Well since he was near stock i told him he could do the count.
So 3 honks later he's leaving me out of the hole... im easing into the throttle trying not to spin the drag radials.... So coming up in 3rd i start pulling him in good and im walking past him when all of a sudden my pull stops... WTF
But im still ahead by a fender... ummm....
I let off and upon slowing down i hear this loud clanking/ticking...
Come to find out I blew my bottom end. Number 5 piston had zero compression in it. The Z was able to stay ahead of the ram air with 7 pistons... I really think i killed the piston ring and not a valve cuz number 3 piston was down about 35% compression also....
yeah it sucks that my car is down... but knowing me... its going to be a hell of a lot faster next time around... I think i'll be going after the bikes on this one...

yeah i ran the one u smoked.. i smoked him pretty bad too..

I actually ran all three of the F-bodies that were there that night, and none of them stood a chance. Nice guys though.

I raced the black LS1 Z28, and the 2002 WS6 that night also.. I beat them both. But they are pretty nice guys. That WS6 was pretty quick.

At the end of my WS6 run, i was so low on fuel that my fuel pump was whinning! It was a little scary, seeing that we were about 10 miles from the nearest gas station....

For some of us that is not good news about your block. However I know you will replace your engine if you get an oil stain on the block..

I think you will be playing with some of the big boys this next time around.

Sne i can try to keep up with you but man its hurting my launches then! people out launch me and then u out handle me...

Do u think a 200 shot of nitrous would help me launch out of the hole better?????

I was there that night, there were only f-bodies and the 300zx out. Nobody ran against a 89 mirage...
