well what do you guys think of this weather?..my cars loving it. out looking for trouble tonight i came accross my mustang GT friend used to work with the guy awhile back and we always bump into one another ...

so anyway i wasnt sure it was him and with another friend behind us in a GTP i kept bliping the throttle trying to get him to go...he finally does and i pull pretty hard...this was from about 50. we get down to the light and he says " you got more than just those tires" i said "tires and wheels and the wheels are 50lbs lighter than the old ones" he was like ohh...ok ...so we agree to go from the same light as the last post ,but that thing satyed green forever...we catch the next one ...and he says he's gonna try starting in 2nd ...i could tell he booged some...i was out a couple cars and pulling...next we turned around and tried the honk thing...he says he thinks he got the jump it was 3rd before i was pulling he shut it down with me at his door....next another light...this time was perfect he put me on his door out of the hole and by the end of second i was ahead and starting to pull away in 3rd .it was a good race...after we pulled over and chatted...first time ..but like i said i knew him from way back...so he has the super chip,intake,and 4.10: 's EDIT: H pipe also, 275 /40 rear tires that looked new . i think they'e new since we last ran...all in all good fun..nothing like running a car thats real close to your same speed

I raced you with my friends 99 GT. You are talking about the race in front of Saturn by 52, right?

Just to get things straight, I have a Diablo chip, H-pipe, FlowMasters and 3.73 gears. I was also carrying another passenger and have a speaker box in the trunk.

The race was pretty even however when wer passed the dealership everyone clearly saw me pull ahead of you. I race you 4-5 times and at no time did you "pull ahead". The race was very close but I found it was the Mustang pulling on top.

no im NOTtalking about our race ...if you read the stories above that stem back to the beginning following the link to the original this is a Burgundy RED GT...but as far as our race i love to race you again even a couple to 3 times to make sure ..not trying to make excuses but you asked for a 40 roll, i said 45 would be better, trying to be accomodating, but 45 still isnt very good for me,... and i could tell for you it was very near the end of a gear as i heard you bump the limiter once ...the one good run the first one im not sure if you noticed but around 100 i was starting to pull when you shut it down...being an auto it's tuff that's why i wanted to go from a dig... 20-25 is good i can hold first ...55 is good in second... 2nd goes to 73 and 3rd 113 ....and again i know we tried but those lights just werent our friends that night and i was in a hurry....i'd love to meet you somewhere again and do it a couple more times...if digs are no good for you howabout 20-25mph?

yes i as there at that saturn dealership and everyone was talkign shit on the stang i dont know y, sum arrogant female was goigng on how mustangs are stupid for racing him....but i odnt understand, he has simple bolt ons, nothing dramatic, i heard that acura is worked. and the whole dealership watched as that mustang pulled away, that girl must have felt real dumb!

the only person i knew there and had only met one time was the guy in the wrx...friend of a friend...sorry there were people there that werent cool about racing...it's to be expected with a crowd that young especially from a girl...take it with a grain of salt...me and sean are gonna meet again andget a few more runs...ill bring my digi cam and we can all see the results....oh and the acura just has basic bolt ons also...the only thing really out of the norm is a stroked bottom end but it too was just a straight bolt in....

Yes the mustang did win that race . it was a close race . That acura is pretty quick for what it is.. well if you race again get a video we will all be happy to watch a mustang with simple bolt on blow away a stroker..

that's funny ...i think we share similar humor...honestly i think my car's alittle faster not much but just alittle...really it just goes to show how anyone can be caught at the wrong speed and ,the benefits of closer ratio 6 speeds ...i've pm'd sean and were gonna try to get together ...im gonna call him tonight to see if he wants to run...best of three ...dig ..20-25 and 50-55 ...you wanna put 20$ on it? and ill do this...ill take the passenger that will film and let him the mustang driver do the honks on the 2 roll runs, but ...the third has to be 55 then not 50... and goto 115 mph...have sean call me ...
