Audi RS 8?
We're rolling up Bayshore, and I was behind him... he was trying to shake me in the twistee's, and I think he was getting pissed because I was on his ass. It was the first time that I've ever seen an RS 8... I didn't even know they existed. Although, it may have said RS 6, and the 6 just looked like an 8.
So we finally get downtown, and make the left, just after XS. We catch the light, and he's not looking too happy. So the light drops, and we go... he nosed me off of the line; by the top of 2nd, I had a 1/2 car on him, by the top of 3rd, he was probaby about a car back. So I let out, and he does a flyby on me. I dropped it back into 3rd and reeled him in again, and pulled past him. By then we were coming up on the curve, just before 275, and we both let out, with me ahead. It was a pretty strong car, but not strong enough.

Thanks... it was a pretty shiney, so it very well could've been a 6 and not 8, and I just couldn't tell.
It was the first time I've seen an RS Audi. I never even knew they had them until I saw this one. I knew they had the A's and S's, but not the RS's. Like I said, he was strong... so they have 450hp? That AWD must've ate a lot of it up, and that's probably why he took me out of the hole. It's actually a decent looking car... I would compare it to an M3/M5 look. |

Rs6 weighs 4000lbs...
Figure this. The S4 has stock 250hp and dynos at 170whp. That's about a 30% drivetrain loss. I dont know if the Rs6 is different but if thats the case, then it as about 310Wheel horsepower on a 4000lb car... |
