newer svt cobra vs 200sx

I pull on to the track and merge into the staging when I see this yellow mustang waiting at the light ahead. As I get closer I think its a gt and get a little smirk on my face. A little closer and I see the svt badge and the rear bumper says cobra. it was the most recent body style out. i don't think it was an 03 But I could be wrong. So at this point we are getting ready to get on the track and I am a little dissapointed as a cobra will be harder to win against seeing as Im still not back to my high boost setting yet. We merge onto the track and i pull up next to him at about 60mph. He takes the hit and i instantly floor it as well. We are dead even through third, I shift to fourth and neither one of us has gained even an inch. Shift to fifth and my clutch slipped a little and he started pulling away. I just let off as we were so even that little slip put me behind and there is no way i would have caught him. He proceeded to leave it to the floor and just kept going for another 5 seconds or so. I caught back up to him down the track and tried to talk but at 70mph freeway speed its a little difficult to talk to one another. I was trying to ask him the year but to no avail. i was just happy i hung even with him at 8-9psi. it was definately a fun run. I cant wait for the high boost now...

The 03 's are pretty fast if the driver knows whats up! good run!

i dont' think it was a s/c. did you hear it at all????? if so those things are pretty quick stock. Was it a n/a

I couldn't hear the s/c if it was. All i heard was my car. I dont think it was an 03. It just didnt look as mean. looked like a gt with a cobra bumper and svt badge.
