R new Mustang GT auto really that slow?

So I'm just getting back from getting my hair cut, I'm the only car at the light and noone is in front of me as far as I can see, along beside me almost skidding to a stop, pulls up the blk Mustang GT, obviously stock, no exhaust rumble at all. I look over and the kid is staring up at the tree kinda bouncing a little like he's in a hurry. I look back and tell my son "hold on buddy, daddy's got a race car"! so I ever so smoothly slip it down from cruise(D) to race(4). the tree falls and I hammer it! almost gave me whip lash, good thing I had my belt on. and I proceed to drive off from this Mustang, my jaw was on the floor. he switches lanes so now hes now on my right side and we hit the next light and hes confused as hell looking for badges on my car (they are all off btw) so same thing, hes got the ganster one arm tricept flex kicking, bouncing more this time, but I can hear the motor loading this time....uht oh......tree drops and he's off, he squeels the tires a bit but gets the hole, but to my amazement my hampsters start striding and im reeling him in and he's mine, I hit the auto window down for my son and say " wave bye bye Kenny" and he does as we pass!!!:o :o

holy farking shit I was dying...picture this......4800lb 4 door passing your ass with a kid waving "bye bye" toooooo funny

Im amazed the only thing that would have been better is if I had just left publics LOL (keep in mind, the track was completely empty and we never hit any hi speeds at all, but still fun)

Kenwood, i dont want to start trouble but i think it's been said before. They are slow. Suprised you are not driving anything to fast these days. I remember your mustangs back in the day. When they were faster.

I dont think your start shit at all, I know regular gt's are slow in comparison but my car is a turd...4800lbs its a fucking barge. Is this what alot of these ricers race and think they're fast for beating? I still love Mustangs, always will.

I hope people dont think they will run a regular gt and then be ready to take on a terminator

I race the roushes and used to think i was fast until i heard they had V-6's
