Harley Davidson F-150 and a Pewter WS6

Well, yesterday on my way home from work was eventful. I was just driving down the road on my phone and I see a Trans Am GTA and a '95 Cobra flying up behind me racing through traffic, which I don't think is a great idea. Anyway, the Cobra winds up behind me and sits on my bumper. So I get off the phone and downshift into 3rd and get in it for a second. Put about 3 cars on him and let off. I wasn't planning on doing anything else until I hear the familiar whine of the Eaton. This younger kid in a Black HD F-150 comes whipping around me in traffic. I didn't get on it because it just wasn't safe. We wound up catching a light and he whips over to the other lane so we can be first. When I pulled up I saw he had pillar gauges and him and his buddy were laughing like I didn't know what I was getting into. So I asked him if he knew what my car was and he said, "It's not one of those new Cobras is it?" I told him he was in luck, it was only a Mach 1. I asked him what he ran and he said it runs low 9's in the 1/8. I just smiled and said "Are you sure you want to run?" He said yeah, so we did. Let's call it a conservative 6-8 cars through 2 gears.

This morning on my way to work I'm riding up 275 about to get on the Howard Frankland and what do I see but the familiar site of WS6 headlights trying to get around a truck to catch up with me. I wasn't really going to do anything because I don't have much gear, but then I saw his license plate. It was a Texas plate that read "NO PONY". I decided to see what he had. We went from a pretty fast roll, and I would say I put about 1/2-1 car on him if that. It was a fun run until I ran out of gear. We did it a couple more times, each time me bumping the throttle and letting out then giving him the move. It was a Pewter WS6 'Vert so if you know him tell him I said good run. At least I never saw his plate while we were racing.

I was supposed to work but it was cancelled. I go across the bridge every morning around 6:30. I am always next to a Black Neon R/T that has a NX License plate bracket and his plate says "JRSVETT". Anyone know him?

Good kills! You're lucky it was just the Harley F-150 and not the NASCAR edition F-150. I hear those are nasty.

No clue, I was watching the tach. There is no way I'll be able to top end with even a stock LS1, I at least know that. But while we were accelerating I was ever so slightly pulling.

Ya, I never really know how fast I'm going either, I seldomly look at the spedometer. What happened to the mach at track day btw? I only saw you make a couple passes then you were gone

Gears, exhuast, tires and a shifter. The car went 13.26 @ 104 bone stock. I had it at track night and it went 13.11 @ 104 on my only good pass. The next pass i smoked the clutch, so I ripped of my band and started drinking. In good weather it is a solid 12 second car.
