Another thing is to watch how you drive. Typically when someone gets a new car they tend to drive ti easier. Once they get used to how the car handles and the power without knowing they will start to drive the car harder.
i know this isnt always true but you would be suprised to notice that most of us do this.

i think i was driving it worse when i 1st got it lol, now i have just come to terms with its slowness. i agree that this may be a factor but it is such a sharp decline and so rapid that i think something else has changed

ill see what i can do, hopefully my rack comes in tommorow though to cheer me up

is the 2.0 that bad? how would it compare to a 88 GTI with the 16v 1.8?

i cant compare the 2.0 to alot in the vw world because im pretty new, but YES is it very very slow
there is not difference between cramming the throttle to the floor or barley easing onto it, it just plain does not move. i think any caravan getting on it 40% could kill me to 60 with me WOT lol...

i sent them an email. i sent them mailing address so i get piston ring and grease!! hells yeah, changed oil!
