The porsche may suck at launching due to its tall gearing but it does come in handy at the insane speeds.

Its reliably dippin into the 14s when I pussyfoot it off the line.

Its not geared to well for launching and I only have 4 gears but I have a solution for at least one of those problems.

This is all kind of moot anyways when the car is moving. Even with the fucked FI and tired motor it still easily goes over 160 MPH.

Its the reason why I was commenting I would have loved to be part of the high speed caravan over the bridge. I also have the advantage of not having any kind of artificial speed limiter.

i dont have a speed limiter.......my car went 181mph on the dyno......so that means in your view, i can hang with them too!!!

and "reliably" dippin in the 14's would definatly mean you would be watching them with binoculars......no matter what your "top speed" is...

They have been temporarily solved with a combination of a fatter mix and retarded timing. It sure don't do much for the rest of the power band though.

I don't know if either of you have been to 160mph but I will tell you one thing, It isn't fun at all. I had concern more for my car and my passenger to actually think about the fact I was coming up on 160. When I reaced it I was in no awe at all, and was pissed to watch my gas gage fall!! Racing at those speeds on the road is dumb and very dangerous. For those two people to do that is stupid, I hope one of you guys pops a tire at 160mph and watch yourself lose control into a wall, the water, or even worse, and on coming car.

Race a measured distance, such as hum...I don't know maybe a quarter of a mile, or even a half a mile if you must. Hope you guys don't try something like that again, and are a little more careful.
