nick hogan gets everything handed to him on a silver platter, but #5 still stands, and the kid is suprisingly levelheaded.

ill also have to agree with the others who are bashing on him. did anyone watch the episode when nick hogan wrecked a part on his mopar drift viper and the dodge dealership couldnt get the part in time, so MR hogan went and bought a brand new viper just so he could get that part? thats bullshit. id rather drift a geo.

In case you guys didn't know, 95% of the pro racers out there (F1, D1, Rolex, GT, Nascar, anything) got where they are through who they know. It's just a "know someone" business. As I've learned, even being on a race CREW is the same way. The fact of the matter is, he's a gearhead with celeb status. Frankly, he'd have to be paraplegic to NOT be a pro driver. Besides that, drifting is the most wreck-ready motorsport out there, period. When you're a celebrity to start with, you're going to have cameras on you at all times, so I'm sure every wreck he's had has been taped and broadcasted for everyone to rip on him. He's a pro, he's not allowed to make a mistake, right? God forbid Tiger Woods ever goes over par...

By 16, he had at least a couple FAST cars most people on this forum could only DREAM of owning, a fully sponsored pro racing career, plenty of TV time, and a whole internet full of nutswingers. Nick Hogan = FAIL? No. Jealousy = FAIL.

1) Supra owners are very professional level headed people so long as they are talking to each other they are some of the quickest people to down grade any other car and will let you know they think they have the best car in the world. Just try I dare you try talking about a Honda/24/etc. to any Supra owner they will pretty much ignore you, but now if you are talking about a Supra to them then they will be your bestest friend= fail
2) I have no problem with Nick Hogan drifting, what I do have a problem with is a kid who is ok, yes ok not great not amazing, just ok who's drifting the Viper daddy bought him crashing the car, getting out of it and putting his hands in the air... if that was me I would be going "o shit" and looking over the car very conserned with the damage I had done, his nonchalant attitude is one of the things that bothers me worst.
3) Sure he may be better than me.. who cares I don't drift lol, I did a few years ago but wasn't my scene so I moved on.


What bothers me the worst is his attitude about everything, you can't really blame him though, if I was 16 years old and I got everything handed to me on a silver platter I'm sure I would be a little bitch to. The kid honestly needs a reality check, I'm sure he will never have to worry about money, but if he does he will never make it. The kid should be drifting a SR 240 IMO, they are much cheaper and when he crashes them so nonchalantly it wouldn't be as big of a deal.

He has a sr 240. Which he took to bobby ore racing school to be taught how to handle manji and such. Bobby ore actually broke one of the rocker arms in nicks yellow sr'd 240 w/ gt30R, AEM and JIC suspension components.

im not jealous of what little nick has.everything has been and will continue to be given to him.if all that was given to me i would have no sense of accomplishment or pride.sorry,id rather do it the hard way Work For It.call me ignorant,jealous, or whatever the nick nut swingers want to call me,but in the end, weather im great at what i do or not, i still have something to be proud of because i give it my all and busted my ass to get where i am.

Yea that was the second Viper he crashed, the kid is a fucking idiot as well. I met him a couple years ago at a Supra meet and just like most Supra owners he is a cocky arrogant ass hole who thinks because daddy buys him everything he is hott shit. FAIL in my book, I buy everything I drive/crash my cars are built by my blood sweat and tears... his are built by his daddy's pocket book. The reason he is half-way decent is because he can push his cars much harder than most because he doen't have to be woried about recking it because daddy will buy him a new one. Most beginning drifters are not sponsered and pay for all their own shit so guess what happens when they total their cars or blow them up? They don't drive till they have saved up enough money to buy a new car or fix theirs. You know what if his daddy wasn't Hulk Hogan no one would ever know who he was he would be drifting in the back of a publix parking lot and he would be a little more concerned about crashing a viper.

Why does everyone keep saying daddy is buying his Vipers? He's sponsored by Mopar. They are supplied directly by Dodge/Mopar, and I don't think there's ANY drifting sponsorship out there that doesn't expect to wreck a few cars here and there. So you guys hate him because he got a head start in life and has it easy? If that's not jealousy, I don't know what is. Say anyone of you "hard-working" individuals won the lottery one day, would you hate yourself because you got a break in life? There's no pride in being poorer than someone else.
