First off, your vertical leap is measured at a complete standstill, so no matter how close you pay attention your not going to be able to judge it. Secondly a 36 inch vertical leap is considered "ok" in college level basketball.

well i know it's measured from a standstill, but if you look closely, his leap when he's nearest to a standstill is around 3 feet, so you can figure he's got another inch or two on his true vertical leap, or at least i figured that way.
