125,000 miles stock LS1 Turbos final passes

Well Rob got tired of waiting for the stock LS1 motor to break so he took it out for one last time to the track. Fresh motor going in.

Run 1

Run 2

Piston after 125K

Too bad the guy is such a dick. He cannot drive to well either but he is smart with the turbos.

Am I converting you? You could probably buy a 99 for less than 5k and the kit installed is about 5k so it would not be "too" expensive. But then you would be a mullet

I read his story and I can't believe it! Good tuning works wonders for keeping parts alive but damn even the transmission held up.

My only question is why is it smoking so heavly at the end of the passes?

He claimed "dust". Others (my best friend that had a turbo kit from him) have said bad design on his piping. I dunno they fight/argue all the time on the boards.
