This is my 1964 chevy c10 project truck. as you can see from all the pics in the 2 links, i have done quite a bit and gathered alot of parts already. i do not have the time or money to finish it the way i want so it is for sale with all the parts. the truck is a 64 chassis, has been swapped to 5 lug all around with disc brakes up front(72+ c10 i believe) and power steering, and a 12 bolt rear. i was told the rear is a 3.73 gear, but havent confirmed it. the engine is a sbc400 (74 2 bolt main, 4 barrel stock). it runs and drives, i drove it from indian rocks beach to spring hill. smokes a little blue when first cranked then goes away immediately. its old valve stem seals. currently has ram horn exhaust manifolds and dual 2in exhaust with glass packs. i have a set of headman long tube headers i pulled from a 70 c10 so they should fit in the frame rails no problem. i also have an edlebrock torker intake manifold. this is a torker 1, not a torker 2. it is polished but needs some tlc with mothers as its a vintage manifold from the 70's i bought used. carb on the engine is a edlebrock 4 barrel. im not sure of the size, either 600 or 650 as best i can tell. edlebrock couldnt tell me from the numbers on the carb itself. it has an hei distributor.
the cab and front clip are from a 66 c10 i bought for parts. the truck was from texas so is very solid. there is rust obviously, this is a 45+ year old truck. floor is solid, roof is solid, dash is good. etc... for someone looking to do a restoration or hot rod it would be perfect. it had a powerglide trans in it. but currently has a th375 in it. the drive shaft has not been shortened yet so undriveable in the current state. the powerglide will also come with it.
the 66 was a 3 seed manual on the column. the steering column and shifter linkage are included, as well as the original steering wheel and horn button, however im also including the 3 speed auto column i have for it. it came from a 70 van and has no key so the key can be kept on the dash as it came from the factory.
my 64 was an original custom cab, so i have the actual aluminum grill and custom side pices for it. i also have the windshield from the original cab as its not cracked and has the chrome trim. the windshield in the current cab is cracked. it also comes with an extra small rear window and both of the old doors which also have good glass.
i also have a brand new edlebrock performer plus cam kit with lifters brand new in the box, and aluminum timing chain cover, stainless steel engine bolt set from sumit, and mickey thompson valve covers.
i was told by the previous owner of the 66 that all the gauges in the cluster work, but havent tested them myself. the cab has the heater box and heater control levers. the cab, front clip, and bed are not currently bolted down to the frame. i left them unbolted as i intended to move them out of the way to sand blast and paint the frame.
the wheels that are on it are 15in circle track wheels and they are rusted and need to be replaced. the tires hold air but are bad. they are all 275/60/15. i dont know the offset of the wheels. it has an extra radiator, both are good. one is like new. good fan shroud, i think the cluster from the 64 cab is in there also. lots of extra little parts.
anyhow, i have much more invested then what im asking. so serious offers only please. finding a 64-66 truck in this solid of condition isnt easy. $2000.00 obo.
