Oh ok. I was going to say, it doesn't really seem big enough to warrant hydraulic steering. I've been wanting that same style truck for a while. What did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?

Got it for $2000, needs some work though, front tire isnt mounted, and hasn't been run in months.
Its got 44" tires on it.. It's bigger than it looks in the pic. The hood is about eye level for me and im 6 feet tall.
I can't wait to pick it up saturdayOffroading Spots near Tampa

Wow that's a great deal man even if it needs a little work. I didn't realize they were 44's! That's sweet. I wish I could find me a deal like that.

Thanks man, I know, looking at the pic they don't look as big as in person!
New 350 motor, ok tread on 44s (swampers up front boggers in rear), 3/4 running gear (4.10), pretty decent body (needs new rocker panel and inside fenderwell), ganny gear 4-speed... decent interior... 12 inch lift, 4 inch body lift...

You dont need 5 ton Rockwells just to hit some mud.
Hell, 3/4 ton axles are what all us 1/2 ton guys upgrade to.

its actually got a 10 bolt front end, which is a 1/2 ton but has 8 lugs... still just as weak as a 5 or 6 lug 1/2 ton axle...
10 bolt + 44's + mud = broken parts... but ill still run it and see how it does... i know some people get lucky and dont break them, im just not usually that luckyOffroading Spots near Tampa
