I thought the both sides were supposed to be no more than 1 inch different? At least thats the info I've been reading on the turbo forums and tech sites. You know me,.. I soak up what I read like a spung,.. I just dont have any personal experience so I honestly dont know.

I am kinda curious,.. what was the purpose for the reducer?
I'm kinda anal about my exhaust and any kind of kink or something I think would create a slight restriction I'll end up cutting out and replacing.

And you guys know I dont know squat about turbos except that I'm putting one on my motor as soon as possible,.. so not trying to bash Shaun,.. but that does look kinda dumb. But also.. if he paid for this and left the shop with out stating that he was unhappy about that then he is just as much at fault for letting Shaun believe that he was ok with it.

The thing is I can take a car and build it to my knowledge in my garage at home, but when I take it to a *professional* I don't expect to hear some BS about what works when it clearly doesn't, let alone pay for substandard work that I can fuck up myself. I don't need to pay someone to fuck up my shit, I have no problem doing that on my own. The difference is when I do it, I save on labor.

You cant neck down a down pipe that small. Jimbo look at flow/sq" of pipe. You'll be surprised how diameter changes this

Ok,.. so the big question here is have you discussed this in detail with Shaun before you came here to bash him? Have you specifically stated to him that your not happy and told him that you want him to change it or at least give him the opportunity to work something out with you?

If not then this is all pretty childish an unnecessary. If Shaun refused then I guess we need to hear his side of the story. I will admit,.. that pipe looks fucked up. There is no way I would ahve paid for that. But that doesnt excuse anyone from making the shop owner assume it was ok.
