Why are you instigating?
I thought you wold have a little more self control than this.
Whats so different between what you did and whats happening now? Pot calling the kettle black? Shit happens,.. people make mistakes. At least give someone that chance to defend them self before you back stab.. er bad mouth them. Your in something that really isnt your business. Not mine either,.. but you kinda struck a nerve in me with your remarks.

Look Jimbo
I bought some parts from Trey and went to his house to pick the up. I saw all the things he is speaking about and that is all I am saying. I bought his 347 a trans and other parts and all were just as he said GREAT. And as i said I tole that dumb ass to bring the car back and I would give him back his money. I sold my red one for $7,500 and the white one for 6 grand so I could give a shit about the corral.Last edited by riverviewnative; 02-23-2010 at 01:22 AM.

Please read the PM. This was not an isolated problem of just a ring gear, had it been so simple sure, easy fix, but it was not. It was an addition of multiple issues coming to a head. The issue of the ring gear was just one example.

Not to instigate John, but....I don't think that the car having a problem is the issue here....It was the erroneous diagnosis, and subsequent lack of action by the shop, which lead to a failure of the vehicle, that is the issue. Had the shop in question made a sound diagnosis, this would not be on here....At least I highly doubt it would be.
I'm no where NEAR as experienced as John or any of the mechanics at All American, but even I know that a clicking while the car is cranking, is not normal for ANY clutch. There MUST have been a break down of communication SOMEWHERE.

So then why all the finger pointing and drama? Are you so much better than Shaun that its ok to throw him under the bus when he's not available to speak up for himself? Perhaps it would have been a little more mature to let things settle and calm down until the 2 people who have the issue can either work things out or part ways. Then at which point opinions could find a proper place. Right now its like your stirring the pot. Nothing personal Ray. I like you,.. but thats just childish.

Not really....I'm just waiting to see where the break down in communication actually HAPPENED. Was it the vehicle OWNER failing to properly communicate the issue to the shop? Or was it the shop mechanic failing to properly diagnose the problem? Once THAT has been determined, I will draw a conclusion....However, I still don't have an opinion.
I just know which shops I have never had a probelm with. Yours is one of them....Of course, I have never taken my car to your shop either...So you rank right there with about 300 other shops in the st. Pete clearwater area that I have never taken my car to.
I have taken my car to TWO shops...EVER. One was Genuim Performance....and I got top rated service there. The other was Just Racin, who totally ripped me off, but performed the job.

A starter needing to be shimmed can create a clicking/whining noise during startup. Usually nothing to get worried over. Personally I would have said not to worry about it either. (shrug) No one is perfect.
At least let Shaun come in here and defend himself before making accusations.
