I had a good deal of work done there over the past year and none of it went well. I did not do anything major, all the work done on my car was tuning mostly and some maintenance thats why I say not recommended for small jobs cause I have yet to hear complaints about their motor swaps or turbo work. Almost everytime I went, John tried to talk me into a motor swap and told me that my car will never run right but after 1 day of CAM Mobile Performance working on my car, it now runs perfect.
John did make a deal with me so that I would remove a negative picture that I had in my signature about them. But he only made that deal with me after another person made a negative thread about them and I decided to post in it then add that negative picture to my signature otherwise I don't think anything would have been done.
Ok, I need to give more info since this seems to be to little.
I made a long thread once but it got locked in LHTs forum and then deleted by John since he mentioned it would give his business a bad rep.
When I initially started going there I needed to get my car running and since they are close to where I live and I knew about them from my friend EJ showing me where it was one day cause he wanted to check them out and all the good things I had heard about them on here. Well, they started out great since they got my car running and initially my first 3 visits there seemed to be good.
I have an LS swapped into my EG9 and I needed to get it running right was all.
I had my car dropped off there several times to get work done that either didn't get done or didn't get done right.
I will list the work I had done and the items that didn't get done right or they did ok.
-Got my car running - Did a good job but left my ECU and carpet pulled down without bolting it back in and told me that all it needs is a bolt but it wasn't that way when I dropped it off, hesitating bad
-Re-wired O2 sensor - They did a good job, still hesitating
-Installed Oil pump, Water pump, and belts - Oil pump has a leak around it, still hesitating
-Adjusted Lifters/Valve Lash - Paid but them and left my car there but looked like they never even touched it since they were all way off
-Installed Cam Gears - Timing was way off on both cam gears and was eating gas like crazy, 4 lines off on the exhaust cam and 3 lines off on the intake cam, hesitating worse than ever
-Hondata installed - Seemed to be fine, sold back to John to get a stock LS ECU and seemed ok and also received a refund for the work done, street tuned but car was still hesitating
Had more work done than this, just can't think of all of it. I will have to look over my receipts. My car ran the worst after my 3rd to last visit when I installed the cam gears due to the timing being off so bad and the lifters also being off, none of which was ever fixed. My last visit I was told that my car would was not running right and would never be due to compression being low in 2 cylinders. John said I should swap in a GSR for the upteenth time.
Yeah thats what my roommate kept saying but I if I was more mechanically inclined I would have noticed and looked for a second opinion early on.
The only reason that I continued to take my car there for more work is because I trusted John and thought it would all get fixed in the end. I went for different work everytime. It may not have been John that worked on my car also since he said to me that he doesn't do most of the work just fab and welding.
I was not able to do everything at once due to lack of time since pretty much every job I had to leave my car there for a long period of time and I could only do a little here and there. I have taken my car to other shops prior but they could not do the work I needed and I did not know a lot of shops to take my car to that was local since it was having a hard time getting places and I was worried I could not make it far.

LHT doesn't call potential customers back
Well,
I'm writing this because I had heard fabulous things about LHT for tuning Hondas.
During the past two and a half to three weeks I've been trying to get in contact with them either by phone or in person. I've left two to three messages, tried to stop by twice (with the door locked), and even someone at Yonke Racing tried to get them to return my calls. My only guess is that they must not want or need the money I was willing to pay for tuning.
Is this the kind of customer service I could expect after tuning my car?
Please note: I'm not bashing LHT's work, but they definitely need to work on their customer service, especially since they charge a slight premium for their tuning which I was willing to pay as they have a good reputation.
Note to mods: I hope I put this in the correct place.

I went to them to get a 5 bolt downpipe gasket and they told me they didn't sell them cause they didn't use them. I asked what they used instead and he said I should buy a downpipe from him because mine wasn't a good one. He then said this and I quote
" We (LHT) don't use gaskets on our turbo kits we fab, we cnc all our parts to match and there is no need for a gasket between our turbo and downpipe". Well here is the problem. Im not a 16 year old kid and I have been building cars for a long time, for a living. I had a shop for a longtime and my uncle owns a well respected machine shop and I have worked there part time sense I was about 12 years old. If you can cnc or mill 2 pieces of metal to remain airtight under 20+psi I would love to see it, as would nasa. The point Im making is because he thought I didn't know anything about cars he would spank me for a bunch of cash.
Then I went on a seperate date to ask about a tune after a friend said that was the place to go for said task. I told him my setup and what I wanted done, i.e. fuel map, rev limiter off, launch control, o2 sensor turned off for wideband etc. etc. A full tune and video the car on the dyno for proof ya know, show off to my friends really, lol...
THIS IS THE GOOD PART...
He told me the video wasn't possable because they have an offsite dyno in a wharehouse that no1 can go to because they keep equipment, inventory, and cars there. So I said forget it and moved on, (by now I would never go back) and decided to have John Vega tune the car. And I get to talking and find out he tunes there cars for them and he did it for a surprisingly better price.
THIS IS THE BEST ONE... YOU GOTTA READ THIS ONE...
My boy goes to get his N2O installed right. So they install a kit he provided (bnib) and charged him like $300 but that isn't even the issue... He goes and has the bottle filled and we all get ready to go out and ya know, were having a good ole time and get out to the track and everyone's hanging out and our boy pulls up to the line, gets ready, does a burn out, stages, takes off like a bat out of hell, slams second gear, AND LOSSES ALL FUEL PRESSURE CAUSE LHT PERFORMANCE HOOKED UP HIS WIRING ON THE FUEL SELINOID BACKWARDS... THEN IT GOT STUCK FROM BEING GROUNDED OUT AND WAS DUMPING FUEL INTO HIS MOTOR NONSTOP (RACEGAS). So the car thinks it has no fuel pressure as the thing is getting sprayed with racegas and he had to kill the car, rip out the battery, figure out what it was (you could hear it spraying) and cut all the wires so he could drive home after pulling the plugs and turning it over to pump out all the fuel in the motor and intake mani, (over 2 gallons total). KEEP IN MIND THE WHOLE TIME THE
N20 WAS ALSO SPRAYING UNTIL THE BATTERY GOT PULLED AND THE BOTTLE GOT TURNED OFF, OH YEAH!!!
HOW DO YOU DO THAT TO SOMEONES CAR???
