I came out in my neon but didnt run it, why? its stock and slow as hell for right now. t3h beater

Friend chase was out there having a hard time besting a 14.2 at 97 so he let me have A pass. Bone stock 05' SRT4 with a Mopar Short Throw Shifter and motor mount inserts for only mods, which arent performance enhancing. Checked the tire pressure, made sure the engine stayed around 185 degrees and did a small dry burnout. Shallow staged, held revs at 2000rpms and the run went as follows:

i was racing a nice modded black 84' 280Z, cool guy and great run. I kinda felt bad cause i had just told the guy it was a stock car and i was expecting to get beat only to tree him and hold him off the whole way down. At the trap he came up pretty hard but i trapped .0401 ahead...talk about close. Not bad for a totally stock skittle, all it takes its proper driving. Thanks again Chase

Traction was holding me back. I was hoping to get a little closer to the 9's, if not actually see a 9.99 before I finally break down and add some nitrous to my combination. Maybe next time.
