TRack Event # 8.2 Wrap Up + Pictures (56k Warn)
We had a good turn out tonight considering all of the other things that were going on. Lots of spectators and about 70 cars ran.
This will probably be the last Friday night event we do since it is so hard for people to get off work and get down there in time. I like the car counts around 110 or so to keep a steady stream running and that is hard to do on a Friday night. From this point forward I am shooting for Saturday only events if possible. The staff was great as usual, Wade and the guys worked their asses off all night to keep the racing surface in order. Also thanks to Alan, Dave, and Lori for helping things go smooth as usual. The next event is already booked for Saturday night October 23rd so now you have something to work towards. Here is a link to all of the pics., half of mine are very dark because my camera has a small flash but Jeremy (Mars302) got a ton of pics. with his good camera, which will be up soon. ![]() i made that pass in b00stin-ne0n's ride ran a 13.7 at 105 it was so muggy out, car has run a 13.2 at 109 but it was much cooler out. This car has never run slicks he wants to run 12s on his oemtires set at 32psi... nice car vertigo, how you make it home? my feet still hurt from pushing it from the last turn off to the shack unassisted...felt so good on that pass too.
