what rear end for a TE72 Wagon???
Ok, so I'm doing research for rear ends.
The TE72 82 corolla wagon came with leaf springs so the swap availability is limited.
So far the Cressida Wagons came with a potential candidate.
Is there anything else that can be swapped in that can handle HP?
Anything with discs as well?
Just seeing of any of you guys can help.....

My buddy has a te72 wagon and is running a ford 8.8 out of a foxbody. Its like 30mm wider on each side but it was pretty easy. We just cut the old mounts off and welded on new leaf mounts. LSD, discs and capable of lots of power. Its pretty awesome... and its powered by a 1uz

Just saw this. 4x108... lots of American racing wheels came in 4x108 & 4x114 so you can run matching wheels all around.

Yeah it ends up being pretty wide but the stock foxbody steelies sit about flush with the factory fenders.
The other option that might fit better if you can find it is the first gen supra rear axle. it's pretty much the same dimensions and I've heard that they can hold the power just fine. It would also keep the same lug pattern. They're hard to find, but there was one in the junkyard recently at big 3. That was already about month ago so it may not be there any more, but it'd be worth a look.
