Most aftermarket turbocharger kits for naturally aspirated cars recommend running no more than 6-8 psi to prevent engine damage.
AFTER READING THIS IS THE GREDDY TURBO CHARGER TO MUCH FOR THE MAZDA 3?
AND HOW MUCH POWER WILL THIS PROVIDE? TO MY EXISTING 148 HORSEPOWER?

IMHO, I'd stay away from any greddy turbo kit. Most greddy turbo kits are designed to fit like a factory turbo kit but, like a factory turbo kit, they don't make big power. They are designed with form over function. I'd find/piece together a kit with an equal length tubular exhaust manifold w/ 3" turbo back exhaust system, a large t3/t4, a large FMIC, at least 550cc injectors, and a high quality standalone engine management system. You'll make the most HP/TQ that is available safely. I.E. With the greddy kit, you'll make around 80 more WHP and with a pieced together turbo kit with higher quality parts, you'll make from 125-175 more WHP than you did before boosting your car. Also, in most cases the custom turbo kit will cost less than the greddy kit and you'll be much happier with the performance gains.
