well not to be rude but i just about took out the wall on my last pass of the day...
there were chunks of rubber everywhere because the track was not scrapped correctly. the rubber was causing a majority of the issue only compounded by the heat. after the sun started to set of the bracket program the tack got better and once all the rubber was gone the track was decent.

second on that farmers tan.
Yeah, my car.. def not the fastest car on the track.. perhaps slowest!
But I did manage a lower 0-60 time than factory spec. Not bad for turning one screw on my injection pump. I'm going to order my intercooler and read up on internal injection pump adjustment.
But here are some pics I took, not all but some.(wish I had spare money for a 70-200mm f2.8L telephoto lens)

Scraping will take place AGAIN (Just scraped 60ft to water box down to concrete basically last week) THIS TIME out from 60ft to at least half way out(330ft). The heat was our primary problem, the byproducts of that started peeling some rubber which will be fixed this week.
My reply from another thread here:
It was quite hot out there yesterday, I appreciate everyone who came out to support this event. We are going to be doing Friday night racing the 2nd and 4th Friday nights of the month. Street Racing / Import Racing, open to anyone wanting to test and tune, but we plan on including match races as well as some heads up racing and possibly throwing a program in there once we get the word out about it.
We will be starting this in June, so the 12th and 26th will be the dates for June.
Thanks again to the TR Staff as well as the TR Members for making this event a success.
As for the sensor problem in Lane 2, unfortunately these things do arise, thankfully these issues have not been a problem for us in quite some time and that it was not a show stopper. Next week my job will consist of rolling everything and likely repair/replacement of some sensors/wiring on the starting line. Not fun, but has to be done. Otherwise I think we had a really good day, besides the heat.
Special thanks goes to scnat(David) for his help in making this happen. Thanks Dave

I'll agree with the heat being the main culprit causing the lack of traction..I was getting pretty good 60's until the track got up to 140 degrees...

We left early because it was just too hot. Would love to do it again, but it would be better at night.
