Track Event #20 don't miss it

my best time as the car sits right now on slicks is 1.6 60', 1/8mile 8.3 at 82mph, 1/4mile 13.1 at 101mph. Chris with the black SRT-4 pulled the 1.3 60' time. The track operator said it may be off by 1-2tenths of a second, but still if he hit a 1.5sec 60' that is damn good. I cut 1.7's consistantly only did 1.6 twice

What did his car run then ? My best 60ft time over there was a 1.79, and my fastest time was 7.5 with a 1.83 60ft time.... On 93oct.

You had a 1.595 60' 7.084 @ 104xx
2.296 60' 9.64 @ 77.44 for me.

CO S13, did u guys ever try 2nd gear? what do u run when u hook?

All I have done to my car is:
race springs
Forge Diverter valve
Lower Intercooler pipe/Throttle body hose
GIAC Software (20psi spikes 16-17hold)
Short-ram, 3" DP cat-less to 2.5" catback.

I SPUN HARD 1st, sometimes a little into 2nd. on 25psi

idk nhra has alot of tracks and 3 in the general area and 6 in the state of florida. lakelands biggest issue is that it has a very very short shut down zone when it comes to fast cars. anything faster then 5.3's has trouble stopping in time, if the had a few hundred feet longer shut down it would be nice.


i've been to lakeland nights where the car has hooked hard and ran great numbers but i've also been there nights where it was horrible. with the right prep work and a cleaner track surface the track would be a nice little place to race at. i like going there to race, and i know its not an easy job for them to do.

i know they are trying, and i thank them for their efforts because they are nice people. if we could keep the truck pulls off the track that would be nice too but eh.

anyway back to TR20, it was def a fun event to partake in, i'm looking forward to another one, at night and maybe a few more people.

there is a lot more to it. the type of trauma center that lakeland has, roads leading to the track etc. it would be a huge city under taking also..

Haven't tried that. I haven't put down any good times. The car has only been to the track 3 times and the other 2 were when we moved here three years ago. I expect to drop a lot with slicks. I have a short list of "to dos" for the car and I've threatened to sell it if I don't see 11s in the 1/4mile.

Dont sell because the car doesnt put up numbers. Thats a bit outrageous. if you touch 12s that should be well enough for a daily. My car is barely 14s.
But slick should help u alot just dont break any axles

yeah i was thinking of a different pass, i still spun pretty bad that pass i was off by about a tenth in 60'.

honestly the hole day was a blur mostlikely cause of the heat.

The car isn't a daily. It's a garage queen even though it was in a horrible hail storm. With what's done to it and the few changes we have to make the 11s should be cake.

Well it looked to be modded almost twin to Chris' 240.
sr2o blacktop right? 58mm or so idk i cant remember, upgraded boost hoses.

your car has deep 11s in it. a tune, little suspension work, and SOME TIRES! i ran low 11s on 100 less whp. you should be atleast there. oh and tranny.

This is why I'm saying 11s or sell. I have to start with solid lifters. My 240 sounds like my former DSM. Once we do that and some injectors I think we'll hit the dyno.
