--OK this has been something I have been working on for several years as you can see.
--This car was initially a car my girl bought for the motor. Well I already had 2 other parts car's and I was sitting in my shop one day looking out in the lot and realized that I had most of the parts to put together a shell.
--I was also in the process of building a gsr but, as life takes it's tolls I hit hard times and needed cash so I sold the gsr bottom end (eagle rods, cp pistons, arp everything, all OEM bearings and gasket's, block guard etc etc.) and it was brand new never even been in a car. Single slam it was. Started with a mini me, then mini me with pistons out of a d16a6???? (zc) and then stock single slam for a road trip to Ohio.
--Well I never got along with single slams much so I got an ls swap and found out it had a bad tranny. Off on a search I went. Hello e-gay. GSR tranny with a 5th gear that grinds for 305??? I drove to west palm and meet the owner of the car (at least 60) and seen the Car (super clean with less than 100k)
--I already had the ls that was screwed so I took the 5th out of ls and put it in my gsr. I was actually getting somewhere now.
--I got bored real fast with the ls so I sprayed it. I still wasn't happy so I figured that since I still had this built gsr head from my gsr build (2 years now) I would do an ls/vtec so I traded the nitrous for an ls short block and picked up some pr3 pistons and rebuilt the bottom end. Picked up a 1st gen skunk2 intake.
--This was fun and once again I got bored. Guess what I did at this point...... Yeah I sprayed it with a 50. I put it on the dyno a few times and got my a/r perfect on all motor and set it a little rich on spray. I made 230whp and 187tq. and then I blew the clutch apart (OEM) so I got me act pro light fly wheel, stage 2 6 puck sprung competition clutch and exedy pp. At this time I put jets for a 100 shot and that was pretty quick. One night I miss shifted and sprayed it before I realized I miss shifted and I toasted one cylinder BUT, its OK because I was almost done with my new bottom end.
--This time I was going b20/vtec. Weisco pistons 84.5 at 12.0cr, eagle rods, golden eagle block guard, balanced, stage 4 competition 6 puck unsprung clutch, heavy duty competition clutch pp and direct port. I have not had time to put the car on the dyno yet because once I put, the new motor in my wife had my baby 2 days later.
--I also managed to get my hands on a b16 tranny real cheap with a cracked case and now I have redone my tranny again. It has b16 1st & 2nd gear, gsr 3rd & 4th with an ls 5th gear. Now I just need an lsd.
--During all of this the car has undergone a few changes also. Del sol red stripe seats, OEM axle back, rear disk conversion, master cylinder upgrade to 1", hx wheels, drag radials, remote bottle opener, bottle warmer, catch can, traction bars, tq mount, upper triangulated strut bar, c pillar brace, x brace in trunk, etc etc.
Soon to be on the dyno.

I love this thread, its nice to see how the life of the green monster started, and to see her go from single slam to b20/vtec on direct port! GT Killer!
