Can't Unzip ecu def. file into the ecuflash directory

I've been trying to get this going for a couple days now in my spare time, and searching has left me empty handed..

I've deleted the Subaru folder, set myself as Developer, and it still will not let me unzip the file into the metadata location.

I'm running Win7 64bit. Is this the problem ?? I'm banging my head on the wall here

    Please help!!

I'm hardly experienced with tuning but I do know computers. We had some issues with this on my end as well. I believe what we had to do is extract/unzip in another directory/folder then copy the file over from there. In ecu flash you need to tell the software which file is for the ecu definitions.

Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong, as I am learning too.

You are right, and I know how it was for my Mitsubishi's, the only thing you had to change was extracting the vehicles ignition code out of your original ROM file, and copy it into the flashable/tunable file so the motor would turn over. You have to pick your correct year, model, trans (MT/AT), and motor out of the ROM files you receive.
