im not claiming to know everything in the world about suabru. man im a certified diesel tech. im just sayin i try to apprehend as much knowledge as i could while having her built. but like i said i appologize. im just going off of the thigs that i have learned from the crew at s&r and from the amount of things i learned from scott when he tuned the car.

I just had a good time having a part in helping a best friend fulfill his dream. met a lot of good people along the way and have had some good times. that's all that matters.

Holy TQ! Thats awesome!
Yea, Scott wasnt trying to argue or offend. He originally stated he was running a 35R, hence the reason I said it was a bit low.
Running a 30R, thats a different story.

just curious... why would you build that motor to that extent and only use a 30r?

Well the op said 35r. And for the record Scott, it was over 100 degrees when I made that pass with out any water on the ic so I'm not sure what you are talking about lmao

Don't forget the pre dyno tuning days when you used to tell people what there car "should be making"Last edited by I'm Slow; 11-24-2009 at 01:18 PM.

I used to tell people that after I tuned it, when I knew how much boost and timing the car was ACTUALLY happy running. That's a little different than to look at a parts list and say that car should have been able to make xxx. I agree that a set of parts should be capable of a certain power, but some motors don't have well balanced injectors, or are just noisy, or happen to work really well, or have bad porting jobs, or good porting jobs, or particularly good or bad stock head castings (Subaru's core shift on heads is atrocious)... etc etc
