If you were to guess...
What would a bolt on WRX tuned make for power on my "low reading" dyno?
Just curios what people would think.
Ill post the answer in a bit.

2.0L or 2.5L? If 2.5L is it an 09?
You need more details man. What kind of bolt ons? Technically I can call a turbo a bolt on because I'm not getting into the internals of the motor.

Its an 06. Turbo back, EL header, intake, tune.
We are thinking his turbo might be going. It wouldnt make more then 15.5 psi using multiple boost controllers.
So its tuned to 15.5 psi

24_ awhp with a good tune. On my EJ20 on the mustang dyno I was up at the 250 range with Up-pipe, CAI, Turbo Inlet, Intercooler hose, Turbo-back, and cobb stage 2 tune at 16.5PSI.... making the turbo the most efficient as possible definitely helped.

You werent at TTP with that tune were you?
Anyhow, Here is what she read.
Baseline- 183whp and 224Tq
Finishing #- 228whp and 262Tq
This was at 15.5 psi. dropping to like 9 at redline.Last edited by concordcobra; 11-21-2009 at 12:49 PM.

was there excessive smoke? you guys should over a full boost leak test on a car before a tune for like $30 because 99% theres a bunch of little leaks that you wont notice but they make a difference. and its very common for the backside of the compressor housing of the turbo to have a leak in it. which is an easy fix you have to use some special lock tite but again its food for thought

make the $1000 investment in a real smoke machine. Every car gets tested before we put it on the dyno.

I'd like to get a baseline reading on your dyno before the Junior tune, so I can compare it to my current #'s in sig.
