Sorry for the delay in updating. Andrew is getting better, and he's at Sarasota Memorial, btw. I'm discovering a new injury to a tendon in my arm; hopefully it will be healing up soon because my arm is becoming useless, lol... I'll keep you posted, on the way out right now. Thanks again, guys.

sorry to say something... but i've been in the same situation an been in the same predicament and got lucky... ok i say bs on the 40 mph... with the left side bein as bent as it is i say u two were doin 60+.... suby plus corner = every suby owners dream... but i do hope u two get bettter

You can of course say that, but it doesn't change the fact that we weren't speeding... There was almost no speed dissipation (it happened pretty much right in front of the tree), and weather conditions were really bad. Plus, this was not a corner, it was a slight bend. It was very unexpected. I've had a few "almosts" in the past, but they've been my fault (i.e. going too fast, turning too sharply without proper throttle, etc). Not saying it wasn't avoidable, but my level of driver ability wasn't up to the task

ehhh chuck you remember the pictures of my car. they said the estimated speed I hit the pole was 45-50 and that destroyed the car.
