My New FMIC
Say good buy to the air-to-water setup and hello LHT Performance FMIC.
The air to water set up was plague with design flaws and it needed to be completely rebuilt.. if I was going to the track more and had a larger budget it may have been a good route to rebuild but for daily driving the FMIC set up is much more efficient.
Any Subies in the Florida area I would recommend having LHT Performance custom build a FMIC and install... for approx the same cost as a mail order unit.
Also LHT Performance is fabricating a carbon fiber shield for the cold air intake which I will post once completed...

"This is a intercooler and piping for a Subaru Legacy with fog lights. there's lots of bends to clear everything and fit the car perfect. Just to make sure it's 100% we did a leak test, we filled the system with water and made a quicky connector to join the trubo side to the intake side to seal it. We then pressurized it to 40psi to make sure there were no leaks.
It passed the test, but we figured while it was hooked up we would crank up the air pressure a little .
All the piping is tig welded and bead rolled to prevent blow off.
You get the very best when you choose LHT to build your intercooler piping."Last edited by iamboon; 03-07-2008 at 09:11 AM.

check with John at LHT Performance as it needs a new core... you have to see what he did to the chill tank... it looks sweet.

LHT Performance does beautiful work. I was not expecting such high quality work and attention to detail. Even though Snowman, Im Slow and Scott Johnson recommended and all stated LHT Performance did great work I was not prepared to see my set up done so professionally. Thank you John and Paul!Last edited by iamboon; 03-06-2008 at 10:50 PM.
