I think it's just the way the light is hitting the flare of the fender. The door is reflecting the dark color of the wheel, but the fender flares out and blocks the reflection.....just my opinion

Edit:
I just looked at the other pics...it DOES look a bit lighter....

Nope, original fender, original paint. It must just be the way the light is hitting it.

I took some this evening just after sunset in the back yard. I don't know jack about photography so I am hoping for a legit shoot soon. The grill is out because I was going to install my new Supertones, but they didn't come with all the components. Only the horns and a new relay.
