I need crx type r swap help

Default I need crx type r swap help

I just picked up a mint 90 crx shell and i already have a 98 type r swap i bought the hasport hydralic mounts and the clutch conversion kit and shift linkages.But i dont know what to use for axles or how to wire it up correctly.Please help

use any b-series axles except type r. make sure you have at least the dx hubs on yer car otherwire the b-axles wont fit. also make sure the gener of you intermediate shaft matches whatever driver side axle you get. older ones have a differant gender than newer ones.

the wiring will be differant depending on what trim level your crx is. hf? dx? si?

I also found a lot of good info on CRXCommunity.com I think thats the right name for the site. There is tons of b swapped crx info on there.

Im not doing just any type r im building the one honda should have made 86 mm sleeved ls block runnnin 10.5 comp and all skunk2 pro 2's and hopefully idtb's tuned by mase already have every thing to do it.I started tearing it apart yesterday going to make it obd2a should be fun.I need info i got a civic type r 5 lug swap can i put it on.I deal with ek's this is my first ef

Because after i save some money im going boost with it.motor with higher comp less boost is more efficent then motor with low comp high boost.

so why did you say a 98 spec type R? what are you using random parts from the 98 R? lol cool build but 10.5:1 is low and I dont see it being a true R. I take my comment back as it being the norm. lol Dont put ITB's on if your just going to boost it later on. Unless you want to boost with ITBs?
